Recent upgrades to the drainage and sprinkler system have made a positive difference to this local Muni. It still floods after heavy rain, but you can't beat its value for money. This is not a championship or high class resort course, but it is an honest test for 18 holes. If your expectations are not too high you will have a lot of fun without losing too many golf balls.

Great course for dollar! Open. Sand bunkers not as well maintained as should be.

I have always wanted to play this course, and finally did July 2015. I enjoyed the variety and some challenging fairways. Scenery is great, trees with spainish moss, a couple holes near the Stono River, pine & oak trees. Some fairways under repair, but looks like they are trying to improve/keep up the course. Greens were nice. Can't wait to play again. Hopefully it will be a bit cooler:)
